Recently, I had a post over at topmodel. Since I was not able to mention money in my post I just though it'd be okay to post it here. One of my main concerns is actually money. Someone hosts my other site. So, I was wondering if I set up a paypal account would people be willing to donate just a dollar or two to keep the site going? I want to go with this hosting.aplus.net where I can get up to 190GB storage, 250GB Monthy Transfer, and up to 3600 e-mail addresses (don't really know why i'd need that many but whatever). It's usually 10 bucks a month and there's a set up fee of 20 bucks. I'd rather pay annually so I 1)don't have to worry about it for every month and 2)then I don't have to pay the 20 bucks setup fee.
Donations would be great...I gotta set up my paypal account by the end of the day though.

I am so sick of every goddamn person and their mother making tutorials. Some of them take 20 steps to make the same thing sharpening the damn image would've done! If you haven't been using photoshop for at least 6 months or are precocious or some shit like that DON'T WRITE TUTORIALS! Has anyone heard of a color wheel? It tells you what colors look fugly when put together! Now I'm not saying that my icons are "amazing" or whatnot but I'm not going to go make a tutorial on how I made the threadless icons.
Step one FIND A FUCKING IMAGE
Step two RESIZE THE FUCKING IMAGE
Step three SHARPEN/CONTRAST THE FUCKING IMAGE
There's my tutorial, ain't it grand. I don't want to be rude and post a reply to someone that says "hey your icon looks like shit, I don't want to make something that looks like that." At the same time I am so sick of my friends page being littered with tutorials by people who just got the hang of photoshop or are little 12 year olds making sparkley text and bitmap shit. UGH!
Plus, am I the only one who hates tutorials that are just text? Or the ones that say it should look like this.
Grr, yeah I know the sound is way too calm for my rant. O_o

Two things to update about: First off, have you seen the Dolce and Gabanna Spring 2006 collection? Oh my goodness it is amazing! I wish I could get some of that stuff. I was gonna give y'all the link but it seems to not be up on vogue.com yet which is odd. AHA! I found it. I'm in love with the pink, black, and white LACE! <3 I have also found a newfound fondness for Tatiana O. Isabeli Fontana is becoming a favorite too. I tend to like the models with the fuller faces. What about y'all? Go look!
Christian Lacroix's collection disappointed me though. The fabrics were more ugly than couture or pretty. There were only a few things that I liked compared to the many that I either laughed/cried at. I'm also beginning to dislike Lily Cole too. Her head is too small for her body or something...maybe 'cuz I haven't seen her smile a whole lot.
Also, Why is it that I'm seeing orange Hermès dresses everywhere? I've seen the same one 3 times and now there's another one in Vogue. They're everywhere!
Last but not least for all you photoshop dorks like me out there. If you have an IPod go to the Podcasts sections of Itunes and look for PhotoshopTV, it's free and offers tips on lots of different stuff.
